If ∆ABC ~ ∆RPQ, AB = 3 cm, BC = 5 cm, AC = 6 cm, RP = 6 cm and PQ = 10, then find QR

  1. Because triangle ABC ∼ triangle PQR

    ∴ RP/AB = PQ/BC = /RQ/AC (corresponding sides the proportional)

    6/3=10/5=RQ/6

    ∴ RQ = 12 cm.
