  1. Given, 2, 7, 12 ,…, to 10 terms

    For this A.P.,

    first term, a = 2

    And common difference, d = a2 − a1 = 7−2 = 5

    n = 10

    We know that, the formula for sum of nth term in AP series is,

    Sn = n/2 [2a +(n-1)d]

    S10 = 10/2 [2(2)+(10 -1)×5]

    = 5[4+(9)×(5)]

    = 5 × 49 = 245
