Prove that: (1+cosθ+sinθ)/(1+cosθ-sinθ) = (1+sinθ)/cosθ

This question is from trigonometry topic – trigonometric identities in which we have to prove that (1+cosθ+sinθ)/(1+cosθ-sinθ) = (1+sinθ)/cosθ

RS Aggarwal, Class 10, chapter 13A, question no 27(i).

      LHS = (1+cosθ+sinθ)/(1+cosθ-sinθ)

      =(1+cosθ+sinθ)(1+cosθ+sinθ)/(1+cosθ-sinθ)(1+cosθ+sinθ)

      =(1+cosθ+sinθ+cosθsinθ)/(1+cosθ)cosθ

      =(1+sinθ)/cosθ

      =RHS
