      Solution :

      Given:

      an = 5n – 4

      a12 = By putting n=12

      a12  = 5.12 – 4 = 56

      a15 = By putting n=15

      a15  = 5.15 – 4 = 71

      ∴ The required terms a12 = 56, a15 = 71
