      Given,

       

      sec θ + tan θ = m

       

      sec θ – tan θ = n

       

      Now,

       

      mn = (sec θ + tan θ) (sec θ – tan θ)

       

      = sec²θ – tan²θ = 1

       

      Thus, mn = 1
