Well i know how to find the General term of an AP using the formula general term a(n)=a+(n-1)d, but i am not able to understand how to find number of terms in an Arithmetic Sequence. Do we have another formula or we have to use the same formula please help me to solve this simple question NCERT maths class 10th chapter 5, Arithmetic Progression.

All you need to do is plug the given values into the formula

tand solve for_{n}= a + (n – 1) dn, which is the number of terms. Note thattis the last number in the sequence,_{n}ais the first term in the sequence, anddis the common difference.
