This is the basic and exam oriented question from polynomials in which we have given a equation 5y²+10y and in the given question we have to find the zeroes of the quadratic polynomials and also asked to verify the relationship between the zeroes and the coefficients

  1. Let f(y)=(5+10y)
    = 5y(y+2)

    to find the zeroes, Let f(y)=0

    5y(y+2)=0
    y=0 or y=−2

    So the zeroes of f(y) are 0 and −2

    Again

    Sum of zeroes = −2+0=−2=−10​/5=b/a=(-coefficient of y)/(coefficient of )

    Product of zeroes = −2×0=0=c/a=Constant term/coefficient of y²
