Find the zeroes of the quadratic polynomials and verify the relationship between the zeroes and the coefficients: 2x²-11x+15

This is the basic and conceptual question from polynomials in which we have given a equation 2x²-11x+15 and we have been asked to find the zeroes of the given quadratic polynomials and also asked to verify the relationship between the zeroes and the coefficients

Kindly solve the above equation

  1. Let f(x)=211x+15
    = 2(6x+5x)+15
    =26x+5x+15
    =2x(x3)5(x3)
    =(2x5)(x3)

    to find the zeroes, Let f(x)=0

    So,
    (2x5) or (x3)=0
    2x5=0 or x3=0
    x=5​/2 or x=3

    Again ,

    Sum of zeroes = 5/2+3=(5+6)=11/2=b​/a=(-coefficient of x)/(coefficient of x2)

    Product of zeroes = 5​/2×3=15/2=c/a=Constant term/coefficient of x²
