In this question, we have to find the smallest number which when increased by 20 is exactly divisible by 90 and 144. This is an important question from Chapter 1 real number ncert book CBSE board.

    1. First we will find the LCM of given numbers 

      i.e

      18×5×8=720

      Required smallest number

      720-20=700

      Hence answer is 700
