    (x,y) = (1, 1)

    Here, x= 1 and y= 1

    Substituting the values of x and y in the equation x–2y = 4, we get,

    x –2y = 4

    ⟹ 1 -(2×1) = 4

    ⟹ 1-2 = 4

    But, -1 ≠ 4

    (1, 1) is not a solution of the equation x–2y = 4
