Solution:
(x,y) = (1, 1)
Here, x= 1 and y= 1
Substituting the values of x and y in the equation x–2y = 4, we get,
x –2y = 4
⟹ 1 -(2×1) = 4
⟹ 1-2 = 4
But, -1 ≠ 4
(1, 1) is not a solution of the equation x–2y = 4
