Check which of the following are solutions of the equation x–2y = 4 and which are not: (iii) (4, 0). Q.3(3)

Its very important question of ncert  class 9th chapter linear equations in two variables . Sir please help me to solve this exercise 4.2 question number 3(3) , Find the best solution of this question or give me the easiest and simplest of this question.Check which of the following are solutions of the equation x–2y = 4 and which are not: (iii) (4, 0).

    (x,y) = (4, 0)

    Here, x= 4 and y=0

    Substituting the values of x and y in the equation x -2y = 4, we get,

    x–2y = 4

    ⟹ 4 – 2×0 = 4

    ⟹ 4-0 = 4

    ⟹ 4 = 4

    (4, 0) is a solution of the equation x–2y = 4
