please solve this question . ..
Q no. 34, exercise 3, ML Publication, share and dividends
dividend per share = 9*100/4*100 = 2.25
let the no be x
Total dividend = 9x/4
When M. V = 77,
Amount received by selling = 77
share/investment = 77x
N. V = 100
Divi per share =( 6*100)/100 = 6
M. V = 110
No.of share =( 77x)/110 = 7x/10
Total dividend =( 7x)*(6/10) = 21x/5
(21x/5) – (9x/4)= 117
(84x – 45x)/20 = 117
39x = 117*20
x =( 117*20)/39
x = 60 Ans
