we have given that  Rs. 100 shares of a company are sold at a discount of Rs. 20.
the condition is also given that If the return on the investment is 15%. then we have to find the  the rate of dividend declared.

    Shares of a company is RS.100
    discount RS.20
    Investment 15%
    Now,
    market value of each share =100-20=80
    NV*(Dividend %)=MV*Return %
    100×x=80*(15/100)
    x=12
