Hello sir how i solve this problem of class 9th ncert book of Polynomials chapter of exercise 2.2 of question no,3(4), How i solve this problem in easy and simple way Verify whether the following are zeroes of the polynomial, indicated against them.(iv) p(x) = (x+1)(x–2), x =−1, 2

  1. For, x = −1,2;

    p(x) = (x+1)(x–2)

    ∴p(−1) = (−1+1)(−1–2)

    = (0)(−3) = 0

    p(2) = (2+1)(2–2) = (3)(0) = 0

    ∴−1,2 are zeros of p(x).
