  1. Let the present age of son be ‘x’ years
    As per question,
    3x + 6 = 10 + 2 (x + 3)
    3x + 6 = 10 + 2x + 6
    x = 10
    Father’s present age = 3x + 3
    = 3 × 10 + 3 = 33
    Present age of son = 10 years
    Present age of father = 33 years
