The nth term of an AP is (7-4n). Find its Common difference.

According to question
nth term of an AP = 7 -4n
e.g T_n = 7 -4n
put n = 1 then T_1 = 7 – 4= 3
put n = 2 then T_2 = 7 -4× 2 = 7-8 = -1
common difference = T_2 – T_1 = -1 -3 = -4
hence common difference = -4
