The first term of an A.P. is p and its common difference is q.
First term(a) = p, d = q
By using the formula ,nth term of an AP , an = a + (n – 1)d
a_10 = p + (10 – 1)q
a_10 = (p + 9q)
Hence , the 10th term of an AP is (p + 9q).
