2x−3y=13⟶(i)
7x−2y=20⟶(ii)
Multiplying (i) by 2 and (ii) by 3
4x−6y=26
21x−6y=60
On subtraction : −17x=−34
x=2
putting the value of x in (i)
2(2)−3y=13
⇒−3y=9
∴y=−3
