    7x2y=20(ii)

    Multiplying (i) by 2 and (ii) by 3
    4x6y=26
    21x6y=60
    On subtraction : 17x=34
                                        x=2
    putting the value of x in (i)
    2(2)3y=13
    3y=9
    y=3
