One of the most important and conceptual question from linear equations in two variables in which we have given two equations x-2y=6 and 3x-6y=0 and we have to show graphically that the following given systems of equations is inconsistent, i.e, has no solutuion
Kindly give me a detailed solution of this question
RS aggarwal, Class 10, chapter 3A, question no 26
x−2y=6….(1)
3x−6y=0……(2)
Isolate x from equation (1) and find the value of x and y.
x−2y=6
or x=6+2y
Similarly, isolate x from equation (2) and find the values of x and y.
3x−6y=0
or x=2y
Graph:
From the graph, we can see that both the lines are parallel to each other.
This system has no solution.
