    (a) Given: Chord BC || ED,
    ABE and ACD are straight lines.
    To Prove: ∆AED is an isosceles triangle.
    Proof: BCDE is a cyclic quadrilateral.
    Ext. ∠ABC = ∠D …(i)
    But BC || ED (given)
