  1. If x=3 is the solution for the quadratic equations 3x²+2kx-3=0

    ∴ value of x must satisfy this equation,

    Substituting the value of x

    3(3)²+2k(3)-3=0

    27+6k-3=0

    6k+24=0

    ∴ k= -4
