This is the basic and conceptual question from Chapter name- Arithmetic Progression

In this question we have been given the aarithmetic progression and we have to find the common difference ane the next four terms.

  1. Solution:

    Given:

    First term = -1, Second term = 1/4

    Common difference = 1/4 – (-1) = 5/4

    Now,

    Fifth term = 3/2 + (5/4) = 11/4

    Sixth term = 11/4 + (5/4) = 4

    Seventh term = 4 + (5/4) = 21/4

    Eighth term = 21/4 + (5/4) = 26/4
