This is the basic and conceptual question from polynomials in which we have given a polynomial kx²-3x+5 and we have to find the value of k if sum of the zeroes of the given quadratic polynomials is 1.
Kindly give me a detailed solution of this question
RS Aggarwal, Class 10, chapter 2C, question no 11
Given : sum of zeros of polynomial is kx²−3x+5 is 1
we know that ,
sum of zeros = –(coefficient of x)/(coefficient of x²)
⟹3/k=1
⟹k=3
