If sum of the zeroes of the quadratic polynomial kx²-3x+5 is 1. Write the value of k.

This is the basic and conceptual question from polynomials in which we have given a polynomial kx²-3x+5 and we have to find the value of k if sum of the zeroes of the given quadratic polynomials is 1.

  1. Given : sum of zeros of polynomial is k3x+5 is 1

    we know that ,
    sum of zeros = –(coefficient of x)/(coefficient of )

    ⟹3/k=1

    k=3
