One of the most important and conceptual question from polynomials in which we have given a polynomial 2x³-6x²+5x-7 and (a-b), a and (a+b) are the zeroes of the given polynomial and we have been asked to find the value of a.
Kindly solve the above problem
RS Aggarwal, Class 10, chapter 2C, question no 14
(a−b),a,(a+b) are the zeros of 2x³−6x²+5x−7
Sum of zeroes =-(coeficient of x)/(coefficient of x²)
a−b+a+a+b=−(−6)/2=3
⇒3a=3
⇒a=1
