Find the total surface area of a solid cylinder of radius 5 cm and height 10 cm. Leave your answer in terms of π (Pi).

And you have to give answer in terms of π (Pi)

  1. Given radius of the cylinder, r = 5 cm

    Height of the cylinder, h = 10 cm

    Total surface area = 2r(r+h)

    = 2×5(5+10)

    = 2×5×15

    = 150 cm2

    Hence the total surface area of the solid cylinder is 150 cm2.
