An Important Question of M.L Aggarwal book of class 10 Based on Equation of a Straight Line Chapter for ICSE BOARD.
Here following pairs of points are given.
(i)  (0, – 2), (3, 4)
(ii) (3, – 7), (– 1, 8)
So, you have to find the gradient of a line passing through theses following pairs of points
This is the Question Number 16,  Exercise 12.1 of M.L Aggarwal.

  1. Gradient of a line (m) = y– y1 / x– x1

    (i) (0, – 2), (3, 4)

    m = (4 + 2)/(3 – 0) = 6/3 = 2

    Hence, gradient = 2

    (ii) (3, – 7), (– 1, 8)

    m = (8 + 7)/(-1 – 3) = 15/-4

    Hence, gradient = -15/4
