  1. Given line: 3x – 2y = -4

    Slope (m1) is given by

    2y = 3x + 4

    y = (3/2) x + 2

    So, m1 = 3/2

    Now, the slope of the line parallel to the given line will have the same slope as 3/2 = m

    And the line passes through point (0, 3)

    Thus, the equation of the required line is given by

    y = mx + c

    y = (3/2) x + 3

    2y = 3x + 6

    3x – 2y + 6 = 0
