Solution:
(x,y) = (√2,4√2)
Here, x = √2 and y = 4√2
Substituting the values of x and y in the equation x–2y = 4, we get,
x –2y = 4
⟹ √2-(2×4√2) = 4
√2-8√2 = 4
But, -7√2 ≠ 4
(√2,4√2) is not a solution of the equation x–2y = 4
