Check whether AD is the bisector of ∠A of ΔABC in each of the following. AB = 4 cm, AC = 6 cm, BD = 1.6 cm and CD = 2.4 cm

In this question  we have been given the measure of sides of triangle ABC and we have to to find out if AD is Angle bisector of A or not by using triangles basic properties.

      AC=6cm

      BD=1.6cm

      CD=2.4cm
       
      ACAB​=64​≈0.67 (1)
       
      CDBD​=2.41.6​≈0.67 (2)

       
      (1)=(2)
       
      Hence AD is the bisector of ∠A of △ ABC
