Check whether AD is the bisector of ∠A of ΔABC in each of the following: AB = 8 cm, AC = 24 cm, BD = 6 cm and BC = 24 cm

In this question ques we have been given the measure of sides of triangle ABC and we have to to find out if AD is Angle bisector of A or not by using triangles basic properties.

    AC=24cm

    BD=6cm

    BC=24=BD+DC=6+DC

    CD=18cm
     
    ACAB=2480.33 (1)
     
    CDBD=1860.33 (2)

     
    (1)=(2)
     
    Hence AD is the bisector of A of  ABC
