  1. ABCD is a rectangle whose three vertices are B (4,0), C (4,3) and D (0, 3).

    In Rectangle ABCD , BD is a diagonal .

    By Using Distance Formula,

    In BD,

    x1 = 4, x2 = 0 , y1 = 0 , y2 = 3

    BD = √(x2 – x1)² + (y2 – y1)²
    BD = √(0 – 4)² + (3 – 0)²

    BD = √4² + 3²

    BD = √16 + 9

    BD = √25

    BD = 5 units

    Length of the diagonal is 5 units
