we have to find the cost of a chair and that of a tables.
Let the cost of chairs=Rs x
and the cost of chairs=Rs y
According to statement,
5x+4y=5600 → (1)
4x+3y=4340 → (2)
Solving equation (1) and (2)
4(eq 1)-5(eq 2)
20x+16y-20x-15y=22400-21700
y=700
Hence, x=560
Hence, the cost of a chair is Rs 560 and cost of a table is Rs 700
