Given, ΔABE ≅ ΔACD.
∴ AB = AC [By CPCT] ……………………………….(i)
And, AD = AE [By CPCT] ……………………………(ii)
In ΔADE and ΔABC, dividing eq.(ii) by eq(i),
AD/AB = AE/AC
∠A = ∠A [Common angle]
∴ ΔADE ~ ΔABC [SAS similarity criterion]
