The question form arithmetic progressions of exercise 5.1 for math I don’t know who to solve this problem so please guide me for this solution Which of the following are APs? If they form an A.P. find the common difference d and write three more terms.(viii) -1/2, -1/2, -1/2, -1/2 ….

Which of the following are APs? If they form an A.P. find the common difference d and write three more terms.(viii) -1/2, -1/2, -1/2, -1/2 …. Q.4(8)

Here,
a2 – a1 = (-1/2) – (-1/2) = 0
a3 – a2 = (-1/2) – (-1/2) = 0
a4 – a3 = (-1/2) – (-1/2) = 0
Since, an+1 – an or the common difference is same every time.
Therefore, d = 0 and the given series forms a A.P.
Hence, next three terms are;
a5 = (-1/2)-0 = -1/2
a6 = (-1/2)-0 = -1/2
a7 = (-1/2)-0 = -1/2
