Using prime factorisation, find the HCF and LCM of 96 and 404.

This question is taken from real numbers chapter in which we have given two numbers 96 and 404 and we have been asked to find the HCF and LCM of the given numbers by using the method of prime factorization.

Kindly give me a detailed solution of this question

      96=2×2×2×2×2×3
      404=2×2×101

      LCM (96 and 404 ) = 2^5×3×101=9696
      HCF ( 96 and 404 )= 22=4
