√3, √6, √9, √12 …
The difference between the above terms is:-
a2 – a1 = √6 – √3 = √3 × √2 – √3 = √3(√2 – 1)
a3 – a2 = √9 – √6 = 3 – √6 = √3(√3 – √2)
a4 – a3 = √12 – √9 = 2√3 – √3 × √3 = √3(2 – √3)
The c.d is not same in each of the above cases.
So, the given series does not form a A.P.
