  1. Let the midpoint of line joining the points A(3m,6) and B(-4,3n) be C(1,2m-1).

    Here x1 = 3m, y1 = 6 , x2 = -4, y2 = 3n

    x = 1 , y = 2m-1

    By Midpoint formula,

    x = (x1+x2)/2

    1 = (3m+-4)/2

    3m-4 = 2

    3m = 2+4

    3m = 6

    m = 6/3 = 2

    By Midpoint formula,

    y = (y1+y2)/2

    2m-1 = (6+3n)/2

    4m-2 = 6+3n

    Put m = 2 in above equation

    4×2-2 = 6+3n

    8-2-6 = 3n

    3n = 0

    n = 0

    Hence the value of m and n are 2 and 0 respectively.
