      Perimeter of ΔABC = AB + BC + AC
      = AB + BD + CD + AC
      = AB + BP + CQ + AC
      [Since BD = BP and CD = CQ]
      = AP + AQ
      = 2AP [AP = AQ, Tangents drawn
      from external point]
      = 2 × 12

      = 24 cm
