How we can multiply 97 and 94 orally?

  1. first we find the difference of the numbers from 100 .

    (100 -97) = 3

    Similarly , (100-94) = 6

    we cross subtract

    94-3 = 91

    97-6 = 91 (therefore 91 are the first two digits )

    then we multiply the differences (6 x 3) = 18 (now 18 is the next two digits)

    so, 97 x 94 = 9118
