Hello sir give me the best and easy way for solving the problem of class 9th ncert math of Polynomials chapter of exercise 2.4. How i solve this chapter in simple way give me the solution of this question Factorize: (i) 12×2–7x+1

  1. Using the splitting the middle term method,

    We have to find a number whose sum = -7 and product =1×12 = 12

    We get -3 and -4 as the numbers [-3+-4=-7 and -3×-4 = 12]

    12x2–7x+1= 12x2-4x-3x+1

    = 4x(3x-1)-1(3x-1)

    = (4x-1)(3x-1)
