How can i solve this polynomial question of class 10th exercise 2.3 question no.2. Please help me for solving this question. Because it is very important for class 10th exam. Check whether the first polynomial is a factor of the second polynomial by dividing the second polynomial by the first polynomial: (ii)x2+3x+1 , 3×4+5×3-7×2+2x+2

  1. Given,

    First polynomial = x2+3x+1

    Second polynomial = 3x4+5x3-7x2+2x+2

    As we can see, the remainder is left as 0. Therefore, we say that, x2 + 3x + 1 is a factor of 3x4+5x3-7x2+2x+2.
