If α and β are the zeroes of the polynomial such that α+β=6 and αβ=4 then write the polynomial.

This question is taken from polynomials in which we have been asked to find the polynomial if α and β are the zeroes of the polynomial such that α+β=6 and αβ=4.

Kindly solve the above problem

  1. Given : α+β=6 = sum of zeroes and
    αβ=4  = product of zeroes

    We know that, if α and β are the zeroes of the polynomial then the quadratic polynomial can be (α+β)x+αβ

    Now, substituting the values, we get
    6x+4 which is required polynomial.
