Can some one tell me when i have to find the surface area and when i have to find the volume to solve these kind of questions i always get confused in finding this difference, In this question the perimeter of one face of a wooden cube is given to us as 20 cm. First to find the weight,we need to find the volume of the cube as they have us 1cm3 is equal to 8.25g
Given:- Perimeter=20cm
Perimeter of square =4*side
20=4*side
side=20/4=5cms
Now find the volume of the cube,
Volume of cube=side*side*side
=5*5*5=125cm3
Now,
Weight of cube=8.25*125=1031.25
