    Given Height of the cylinder, h = 7 cm

    Volume of the cylinder, V = 448π cm3

    πr2h = 448π

    r2×7 = 448

    r2 = 448/7 = 64

    r = 8

    Lateral surface area = 2πrh

    = 2×22/7×8×7

    = 352 cm2

    Total surface area = 2πr(r+h)

    = 2×22/7×8×(8+7)

    = 2×22/7×8×15

    = 5280/7cm2

    Hence the lateral surface area and the total surface area of the cylinder are 352 cm2 and 754.28 cm2.
