  1. f(x) = 4×3 – 12×2 + 14x – 3, g(x) = 2x – 1 Put g(x) = 0 ⇒ 2x – 1 = 0 or x = 1212 Remainder = f(1212) Now, f(1212) = 4(1212)3 – 12(1212)2 + 14(1212) – 3 = 1212 – 3 + 7 – 3 = 3232
