In the given figure we have been asked to find the length of DE if DE is parallel to BC and AD =½BD. if BC = 4.5 cm.

      In figure DE is parallel to BC and AD =½BD. if BC = 4.5 cm find DE

      1/3 = DE/4.5

      DE =4.5/3

      =1.5
