If one zero of the polynomial x²-4x+1 is (2+√3), write the other zeroes.

  • 0

This is the basic and conceptual question from polynomials in which we have given a polynomial x²-4x+1 and 2+√3 is one of its zeroes and we have been asked to find the other zeroes of the given polynomial.

Kindly solve the above problem

  1. Given : (2+√3) is one of the polynomial 4x+1
    to find : other zero

since given polynomial is quadratic so it has only two zeros.

    Let other zero be x.
Now, Sum of zero =-(coefficient of x)/(coefficient of )

    x+(2+√3)=-(−4)/1=4

    x+2+√3=4

    or x=2−√3

hence , the other zero is (2−√3)
